Our Treatment Philosophy
Chronic Kidney Disease
Through history and physical, we carefully evaluate and create a plan unique to each patient. This is supplemented by laboratory investigation and imaging studies.
Hypertension
Patients with difficult to control and resistant high blood pressure are also a focus of our practice. We dedicate our services to aid patients in the management of high blood pressure so that they may lead a healthy lifestyle. Occasionally, we are able to find a secondary cause of hypertension that can cure their hypertension.
Dialysis
We accept patients who are undergoing both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. Dr. Boghani is affiliated with Davita to provide the best treatment possible for dialysis.
Autoimmune Disease
Autoimmune diseases like lupus affect a significant number of our patients. This disease requires careful evaluation and consistent follow-up with patients. At times the patients are on immunosuppressants and therefore need a more refined approach.
Kidney Stone Prevention
Although symptomatic kidney stones require surgical management, prevention is possible through careful investigation of the cause of kidney stones.
Kidney Transplant Follow Up
Kidney transplant patients require careful follow up after their operation. We coordinate with the transplant center to ensure appropriate patient care and follow up.
